What is Flashwords?
An app for learning Dutch (A1–B1, great alongside NT2 / inburgering): smart flashcards with audio and example sentences, eight quiz types, clear grammar lessons, listening comprehension, and AI writing & speaking practice.
Is it free?
Yes — you can start learning straight away for free.
How do I save my progress across devices?
Create an account and sign in. Your streak, mastery, lessons, and writing/listening/speaking progress sync automatically to every device you sign in on.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, choose to reset your password — you'll receive a reset link by email. If your session expires while using the app, you can re-enter your password or log out from the prompt.
Why does the app use the microphone?
Only for the AI speaking practice (Spreken), to transcribe and give feedback on your spoken Dutch. It's never used otherwise.
A word, sentence, or image looks wrong.
Tap the flag icon on a card to report it — that's the fastest way to flag content for review. Thank you for helping us improve!
