Key rules for Object Pronouns

me vs mij โ€” stressed vs unstressed

Both me and mij mean "me". Use mij when emphasising yourself or in contrast. Use me in normal, unstressed speech.

Object pronouns after prepositions

After prepositions such as op, voor, met, aan, naar, bij, over, always use the object form of the pronoun.
